Wahid is one of our superhero security team members from Afghanistan and has been with us for 5 months.
He joined OHF because he wanted to meet people from all over the world. He currently knows four languages: Pashto, Dari, Turkish, English and he is learning Greek!
Ping Pong is one of his favourite things to do here – as it is for most of the OHF family! We asked him what his favorite meal was. He said “Ashak, an Afghan dish consisting of dumplings stuffed with chives tomato sauce and topped with yoghurt, I miss it”. Yummy!
When Wahid is not volunteering at OHF he loves to swim and support his favourite football team, Tottenham Hotspur.
In the future Wahid hopes to visit Canada to see the amazing Niagara falls.
